century ago, women cooked together, canned together, washed
at the creek together, prayed together, went through
menopause together, and grew old together. And when a baby
was born, aunts and grandmothers and neighbors were there to
show the new mother how to diaper and feed and discipline.
Great emotional support was provided in this feminine
contact. A woman was never really alone.

disappeared, depriving the wife of that source of security
and fellowship. Her mother lives in New Jersey and her
sister is in Texas. Furthermore, American families move
every three or four years, preventing any long-term
friendships from developing among neighbors.”

When you have problems with cholesterol, will God or Lipitor help you?
Managing high cholesterol can be a challenge, but with the help of modern medicine and faith, many individuals have found relief. The question remains, however: should you rely on God or medications like Lipitor to manage your cholesterol levels?
Many religious individuals believe that prayer and relying on God can help heal their health problems, including high cholesterol. While studies have shown that prayer and spirituality can have positive effects on mental health, there is little scientific evidence to suggest that it can lower cholesterol levels.
On the other hand, medications like Lipitor have been proven to be effective in managing cholesterol levels and reducing the risk of heart disease. Lipitor belongs to a class of drugs called statins, which work by blocking a key enzyme in the liver responsible for producing cholesterol.
While taking medications like Lipitor can be helpful, it's important to note that they are not a substitute for living a healthy lifestyle. A healthy diet and regular exercise can go a long way in improving cholesterol levels and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
So, should you rely on God or Lipitor to manage your cholesterol levels? Ultimately, the decision is a personal one, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. For some individuals, a combination of both may be the most effective approach.
Regardless of whether you choose to pray or take medications like Lipitor, it's important to prioritize your health and work with your healthcare provider to determine the best course of action for your individual needs. By taking an active role in managing your cholesterol levels, you can reduce your risk of heart disease and live a healthier, happier life.

opinions change from time to time and from situation to
situation. We are effected by emotions, circumstances, and
acquaintances. It is therefore necessary to look beyond the
opinion of man and look to the unchanging Truth of the Word
the time to read through these Scriptures which deal with

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way
they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine,
but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger
women to love their husbands and children, to be
self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind,
and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will
malign the word of God.
Children are a blessing.
children are a heritage from the LORD. The fruit of the womb
is His reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are
the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his
quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall
speak with their enemies in the gate.
God knows our children in the womb.

Thus says the
Lord, Your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: I
am the Lord, who makes all things, Who stretches out the
heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;
Did not He who
made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion
us in the womb?
have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I
may learn Your commandments.
For you have
formed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's
womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully
made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very
well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in
secret and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the
earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And
in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for
me, when as yet there were none of them.
Stand firmly on the path God has set before you.
You, O Lord,
are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain
my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes,
I have a good inheritance. I will bless the Lord who has
given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night
seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is
at my right hand I shall not be moved.

she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith,
love, and holiness, with self-control.
A woman, when
she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but
as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer
remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been
born into the world.
Trust in the
Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own
understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He
shall direct your paths.
And my God
shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory
by Christ Jesus.

has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God
is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond
what you are able, but with the temptation will also make
the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who
forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with
loving kindness and tender mercies,
It is better
to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Speak to the
children of Israel, saying; If a woman has conceived, and
borne a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as
in the days of her customary impurity she shall be unclean.
And on the eight day the flesh of his foreskin shall be
circumcised. She shall then continue in the blood of her
purification 33 days. But if she bears a female child, then
she shall be unclean 2 weeks, as in her customary impurity,
